Nizza è Bagna Cauda

Nizza è Bagna Cauda takes place inside the Foro Boario, on the central square Piazza Garibaldi. Bagna Cauda is one of the oldest and simplest dishes of our tradition (made indeed just of olive oil, garlic and sardines) and is commonly enjoyed with fresh seasonal vegetables. Among those we warmly suggest dip the Cardo Gobbo di Nizza (the local cardoon variety), recently protected also by Slow Food.
During the event, local characters who stood out in the Gastronomy field are awarded with a special prize: “Gobbo d’oro”.
